Join us to celebrate three years of defending civil liberties in the Greater Sacramento Area.

The ACLU-NC Sacramento County Chapter invites you to join us for our annual meeting and election of our 2010-2011 Board of Directors. Nominations are being accepted and candidates may be nominated from the floor.

Requirements for Board of Directors candidates:

* Must be a current member of the ACLU.
* Must be available to attend regular monthly board meetings and actively serve on committees.
* Must send a brief résumé/bio (5-6 sentences) to Debra Reiger at debra.reiger@earthlink.net by September 12 with subject line “ACLU Nomination Biography.” Otherwise, bring copies of the résumé/bio to the meeting for distribution to attendees.

The annual meeting will focus on the chapter’s activities over the past year and the potential issues involving constitutional rights in our communities. You will also have an opportunity to meet and discuss civil liberties issues with fellow members and supporters of the ACLU.
